With cardiovascular risk factors such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease on the rise, it is increasingly important that healthcare professionals are confident and competent in delivering safe and effective resuscitation.

Pacemaker Academy’s Intermediate Life Support (ILS) course is based on the gold-standard guidelines from the Resuscitation Council UK. The course equips participants with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to recognise and manage deteriorating patients, respond rapidly to cardiac arrests, and deliver safe, structured resuscitation as part of the wider clinical team.

Our training combines evidence-based learning with scenario-based practical sessions, ensuring participants leave with the confidence to put their skills into practice in real-life emergencies. Eligibility Requirements

Participants must hold a recognised healthcare qualification or be enrolled in an accredited healthcare training programme. Final-year medical, nursing, or paramedic students may also be accepted where local arrangements allow.
